Mojak Lehoko debuts his latest one-hour solo show, ‘Alive’, at the Point Waterfront Arts Festival.
In his brand new hour of comedy, cerebral comedian Mojak Lehoko delves into what it means to be alive in unprecedented, uncertain, and, quite frankly, unbelievable times.
Mojak Lehoko is a South African based comedian and writer.
After beginning his career as a stand up comedian he went on to write for the satirical news show Late Nite New with Loyiso Gola. The show garnered critical acclaim and multiple International Emmy Award nominations.
He went on to write on numerous other projects such as Ekasie Stories, Abomzala and the South African Film and Television Award nominated The Bantu Hour (SAFTAs).
Mojak is also a multiple Comics Choice Awards nominee and winner of the Comics Pen Award for best writer in 2017.
He has been the host of MTV Base’s Newsish, Woza Kleva and a cast member of various sketch comedy shows such Comedy Central’s As a People, The Bantu Hour and appeared in John Barker’s feature film Wonderboy For President.
